- Long diagonal die line from rim below 4 in date
- Die line through west point of Star 12
- Die line through upper and lower points of Star 12
- The fleur-de-lis has a slight matte texture
Reverse
- "Spike" dentils
- Defect on base of O in GOLD
- Base of L in GOLD lightly repunched
- Numerous minor clash marks within inner circle
- Ghostly impression of fleur-de-lis, with tip of upper leaf centered between IS in LOUISIANA
