Obverse
- Die dot just northeast of flag of 5 in date
- Many lengthy die polish lines
- Narrow "bar" slopes up from rim below Star 1
- Heavy die crack down from rim at 12 o'clock, right of R in EUREKA, to base of helmet, where it branches southwest and southeast. The southwest crack extends across the cheek to the chin. The southeast crack is shorter, and terminates in hair east of the ear.
